A warm drinks ritual book.
20+ recipes for mothers, makers, and humans who want to feel something real in the morning. Not a wellness book. A kitchen ritual. The kind that changes your nervous system one mug at a time.
This book started the way most of my work starts — with something I was already doing for myself and my daughter. Every morning, we stand in the kitchen together. Her mug on the low shelf. My mug on the counter. One breath. Sometimes an intention, sometimes just steam. And whatever was chaotic five minutes ago gets a little quieter.
Hot Stuff is a warm drinks book, but it's not the kind you're thinking. There are no matcha bowls arranged by a stylist. No $40 adaptogenic blends. No promises you'll glow from the inside out if you just add enough turmeric.
There's bone broth with cacao — my favorite, I make it almost daily. Moon milks for bedtime with your babies. Coffee that actually supports your body instead of hijacking it. And a chapter on sweetness that might change how you taste everything.
There's also a chapter called "The Littles" — about giving your child their own mug and a deep breath. About co-regulation through warmth. About what happens when the morning ritual belongs to both of you. No other warm-drink book has this chapter, because no other warm-drink book was written by a mother who noticed that the simplest ritual in her kitchen was doing more for her daughter's nervous system than any program she'd ever tried.
Cacao bone broth. Tahini coffee. Golden milk that actually tastes good. Herbal infusions for every season. Fermented drinks that your gut will thank you for. Savory broths for the mornings when sweet isn't what you need. And throughout — the why behind the what. The traditional foodways wisdom. The understanding that a warm drink is never just a warm drink. It's the first decision of the day.

Not quite. Back to the book — page 33.

A free 3-day reset that will change how you taste everything. Pulled straight from the book — the experiment that gets people to put it down and text me.
The next edition of Hot Stuff will feature real kitchens from real readers. Submit a photo of your morning ritual — your mug, your counter, your light — and you might end up in the book.
Submit a PhotoA ritual kit is coming — the mug, the frother, the ritual card. Maybe a Grownup & Cub set. Be first to know.
One recipe that didn't make the book. It's weird. It's wonderful. It involves black pepper in a place you wouldn't expect.
Hot Stuff is about more than drinks. It's about reclaiming the morning. Reclaiming the ritual. Reclaiming the body. If that resonates, there's more where this came from.
Be In Love goes deeper into the self-relationship. The Ground is ongoing community. And The Signal is for when you're ready for 1:1 work.
